What is Teens In Partnership (TIP)?
Teens In Partnership is a Youth Advisory Board consisting of students living in Anne Arundel County who are committed to making a difference in their community concerning the issue of underage drinking and substance abuse. They are comprised of Middle School and High School students between the grades 8-12. Although Teens In Partnership is a newly established Youth Advisory Board, a lot has been accomplished in developing strategies geared toward young people in our county.
Members of the Anne Arundel County Local Management Board Substance Abuse and Delinquency Prevention Coalition previously selected all of the current members of Teens In Partnership. They were selected to serve as youth leaders and represent their peers in our county. During their time as board members, these students participated in the development, implementation, and coordination of the 2008 Anne Arundel County Teen Summit.
